Peter Obi, former governor of Anambra state, has on Thursday officially declared interest to contest for the 2023 presidential race.
The presidential aspirant disclosed this when he met with Anambra Traditional rulers. The video was posted by Oseloka H. Obaze on his Twitter handle.
Recall that in January 2022, the former governor declared that his ambition to contest for the presidential race will be determined by the party’s zoning decision.
Obi was born on July 19, 1961. He is a Nigerian politician and businessman who was the vice-presidential candidate in the 2019 Nigerian general elections under the People’s Democratic Party (P.D.P).
He was a former governor of Anambra state from 2006 until he handed over to Willie Obiano in 2014.
