2023 Presidency: Tinubu Returns To Nigeria From U.K

All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential aspirant, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to Nigeria.

The presidential aspirant returned to Nigeria from the United Kingdom, UK, on Sunday, at about 8 pm.

The flight which carried the Tinubu was reported to touch down at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport where he was received by some leaders of his campaign team.

The APC chieftain had a few weeks ago informed President Muhammadu Buhari of his intention to run for presidency in 2023.

However, shortly after the hint to the President and indeed to Nigerians on his intention to run for the number one seat, the former Lagos State Governor jetted out of the country and to the UK.

Tinubu had also come out to clear the air on the reason behind his travel and said his trip to the UK was part of his campaign strategy, adding that he was consulting while abroad.

His reason for leaving the country, however, was greeted with mixed reactions as Nigerians claimed he travelled for medical reasons.

Before the Tinubu trip to the U.K, Tinubu had visited some parts of Nigeria like Oyo, Niger, and Zamfara States as part of his consultations.
