Nigerian singer, Davido emerged the biggest winner at the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) 2018 which held in Accra, Ghana.
The prestigious awards which is in its fifth edition went down on Saturday at the Accra Interntaional Conference Centre Ghana with a host of stars gathered from across the continent.
The ‘Fia’ singer won awards in three categories while his Nigerian counterpart, Eazi, won in two categories at the event which held on Saturday.
Tiwa Savage, 2baba, Fresh VDM and Falz took home an award each.
South African singer, Yvonne Chaka Chaka, won the AFRIMA legendary award while Akinwunmi Ambode, Lagos governor, was awarded a special recognition for his contribution to the growth and development of arts and tourism.
A special recognition award was also given to one of Ghana’s music veteran, Teddy Osei, the leader of the famous Osadebe group created in 1969.
