Burna Boy made a shocking claim few hours before his sold-out concert at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, Netherlands on 14th April, 2022. In a post published on his media accounts, the African Giant claimed the unconditional love his grandmother has always shown him is the reason he does not buy the idea that any lady in his life loves him truly.
In his words, while flaunting two beautiful pictures of his grandmother, Burna Boy wrote:
My everything!! She’s probably the reason I don’t believe any girl loves me. I know what true love feels like… Grandma’s love.

In a similar post, the performing singer gave a brief account of his stay in the Netherlands this April and recounted how difficult it was for his grandmother to deal with watching fans crowd him so as to reach and touch him.
These incidents, according to Odogwu, Burna Boy, made his grandmother cry. Regardless of her emotional reaction activated by the love she feels for her grandchild, Burna Boy still wants to have the old woman go everywhere with him.
