2022 Headies Nomination List

The biggest music award organizers in Nigeria, The Headies, have released the full list of nominees for the 2020/2021 calendar year. In the nomination list released today, Wizkid got a total of 9 nods, making him the only artiste with the most nominations.

Wizkid, Olamide, Davido and Burna Boy however got nominated as the artiste of the year. It is also a very big moment for Brymo and his fans as the self acclaimed first Sonic Artiste bagged multiple nominations.

The Headies Awards had announced on Tuesday, 1st March, 2022, through the founder of the award body, Ayo Animashaun, that the 2022 Edition of Headies Awards will be held in the United States of America.
This is the 15th edition of the biggest music awards in Nigeria. The award set to take place in Atlanta, the United States of America, will be live on 4th September, 2022. With a Bentley Bentayga to be presented to the winner of the Next Rated category, the excitement about this year’s edition is particularly magnificent.
